We have just had our beautiful extension completed by Park Lane and could not be happier with the wonderful work and the smile that is brought to our faces every time we come home now! Having had a lot of work done on our home recently, Park Lane have been the most professional company we have encountered and their standard of work is the highest we have experienced. They do everything right first time and don’t cut corners, which made it such an easy, stress-free experience… We have had many people ask us who did the work and someone commented on how they weren’t just impressed with the beautiful work, but had noticed how tidy the site had been kept, which obviously we had noticed, but when else spots that too, you know they’re doing a good job! Park Lane were appointed to design and build a kitchen extension at the rear of our already detached house to the existing 1970s kitchen. We wanted a better connection between the dining room, new kitchen and garden so that the rooms would link and flow. We also wanted a larger kitchen with a seating area. These requirements presented some design challenges not least because of the varying levels between the rooms and the garden. Having their own team of architects, kitchen designers, builders and project managers meant that Park Lane were able to link together all aspects of the project in a seamless manner, removing potential hassle for us. Park Lane were extremely professional throughout, from the first discussions of design and through the various phases of the build. We got to know the construction team pretty well and without exception they were really friendly and considerate. It could have been a challenging time living without a kitchen for several months,but they did everything possible to minimise the inconvenience.
The design has worked really well, not only providing a wonderful, enlarged kitchen, but also the desired flow between existing rooms and the garden. It has transformed the way we live in our house and we are delighted with the end result.
